Back on Track

After a few months of massive inactivity, I’m back on track for training.  I did register for the Tri, which makes me happy and also scares the crap out of me.  I’m committed or at the very least out a good chunk of money if I don’t follow through.

Right now I’m registered for the sprint distance (.47 mile swim, 13.64 mile bike, 3.1 mile run), but the only thing keeping me from the full tri (.93 mile swim, 24.8 mile bike, 6.2 mile run) is the 6 mile run.  I have until July 1 to change my event and if I’m able to run 5 miles by June, then  I will do that.  Either way it’s going to be a challenge. I’m still struggling with the running, especially since I have to start at square one.  Again.

Biked today.  4 fast miles and then 2 slow ones that almost don’t count.  But I’m counting them.
